Request Permit

Why should I work with you instead of getting my own trucking permits?

There are two main reasons why our clients choose to work with us: efficiency and expertise. We excel at helping our clients to orchestrate thousands of successful moves. We know the ins and outs of every state’s regulations and permitting process. Chances are, we can make your permitting and planning process go faster and smoother than you could on your own.

Give us a try. We’re confident that once you’ve worked with Logistix Link on one project, the only question you’ll have is: “Why didn’t I do this sooner?”

How long does it take to get a permit?

It depends on the permit. We can usually get oversized and overweight permits in 3 to 4 hours, though that can depend on conditions in the state you need a permit for. Superload permits typically require more in-depth planning and execution, but if you have a superload move coming up quickly, give us a call and we’ll be happy to give you the absolute fastest service possible.

What does it cost?

The cost of the permits themselves depends on the state you’re traveling in and the permit you need. That cost can vary widely depending on the type of permit you’re looking for, and the state you’re traveling through.

Luckily, we’re permit experts. Just give us a call at (212) 330-7608 and we’ll be happy to let you know what a specific permit costs.

The cost of our affordable permitting services varies by permit and complexity as well.

The best way to find out exactly what you’ll pay is to request a quick quote. Our efficiency and experience lets us offer low prices that make working with Logistix Link the smart choice in nearly every situation.

Finally, a quick reminder that it’s never worth trying to get through a state without the appropriate permits. Tickets for over-height, overweight or other commercial violations can be extremely expensive, and could lead to the revocation of your CDL.

Don’t ever chance it, call us at (212) 330-7608 or request a quick quote and let us help you quickly, easily and affordably get the permits you need.

When do I need an oversized or overweight permit?

Specific rules vary from state to state, but as a general guideline, you’ll likely need an oversize or overweight permit if:

  • Your vehicle and load’s overall height exceeds 13’6”
  • Your overall width exceeds 8’6”
  • Your trailer exceeds 48’
  • If your combination length exceeds 65’
